The Community of the Resurrection consists of men who, freely accepting the call of God, have committed themselves to follow the gospel life.
Mirfield Monastery offers a unique, peaceful and comfortable venue for conferences, meetings and other events
We aim to renew this place of hospitality, welcome and learning as a resource for Church and society in a turbulent and changing world. Our aim is to ensure that all who come can share in our life and leave refreshed and renewed through their experience.
People who stay at the Mirfield Monastery, home of the Community of the Resurrection, come for a variety of different reasons. These can be individually arranged retreats, guided retreats led by a member of the Community or the College, week long special courses, or clergy retreats.

Charles Gore (1853-1932) is a towering figure in Anglicanism whose writings and lectures shaped theological discussion for decades. They still offer a comprehensive vision of the Christian faith and provide a platform for exploring key issues in social and economic justice. This collection of his writings draws on published and unpublished works.
