We aim to meet the needs of all our guests, but would like to point out there are some features which might make access difficult for people with limited mobility.
Pre-Arrival
For assistance prior to arrival please contact the Guest Office on 01924 483346 or e-mail guests@mirfield.org.uk
Arrival and Car Parking Facilities
There is a large car park sited within the grounds of the College of the Resurrection. Disabled spaces are sited next to the entrance of the New Refectory.
Depending upon the meeting space guests will be using, step-free access is straight into the venue or via other entrances which are step-free. Please contact the Guest Office if you need further information about this.
Public Areas (Internal)
The Lecture Rooms and the Festival Room have carpeted floors.
The New Refectory has laminate flooring.
The College Refectory has wooden flooring.
WC facilities for mobility-impaired people are available in various locations across the site.
Public Areas (External)
Access is available to most external areas on site. Where access is prohibited signage will denote this. Please note that paths may be slippery at times.
Hearing Loop
For the hard of hearing we have a portable hearing loop. Please inform the Centre in advance if you feel you would benefit from this being made available for your visit.
Dietary Requirements
We are able to cater for any reasonable dietary requirements (vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, diabetic diets etc).
Visit or Stay
We welcome you to come to CR and to share in our life. Some come regularly to talk with a brother, others spend a day or two experiencing this very different environment. Individuals and groups come on retreat and pilgrimage, share in the teaching and courses we offer and join us in worship and meals.
