All guests who present themselves are to be welcomed as Christ, for He himself will say, “I was a stranger, and you welcomed Me” (Matt 25.35).
Proper honour must be shown to all, especially to those who share our faith (Gal 6.10) and to pilgrims.
Rule of Benedict Chapter 53
Receiving guests and visitors is important in our life together. Some come regularly to talk with a brother, others to spend a day or two in this very different environment. Individuals and groups come on retreat or pilgrimage, sharing in our worship and meals. Many others benefit from the courses, events and teaching we offer.
We welcome you to Mirfield, to spend time in the grounds, to pray in the church and to experience something of our life. Information about retreats, parish pilgrimages, school and group visits, courses and other opportunities to share in our life is spread across the website, but please do contact us with any queries.
